What’s the Ayyeka Wavelet?

Ayyeka's Wavelet is an Industrial Internet-of-Things (IIoT) system, created in order to bring modularity and flexibility to the world of remote data acquisition.

The Wavelet is a discreet, robust device that autonomously operates best-of-breed, third party sensors, using battery, solar power, or a permanent power source. The sampled sensor data is collected, transmitted securely, and then stored on Ayyeka's cloud-server and/or a customer's on-premises server. Data can be visualized and managed via Ayyeka's web-based graphical data management system, and integrated into SCADA systems and third-party software.

With its introduction to the infrastructure market, Wavelet is becoming a dominant IIoT solution for setting up cyber-secure, plug-and-play, affordable smart infrastructure networks.

Wavelet District Metered Area (DMA) Kit

One of the major contributors to non-revenue water (NRW) is water leakage. High levels of NRW affect both the financial viability of water utilities and the quality of the water itself. Metering water at the distribution network level is essential to estimating levels of NRW, and knowing the contribution of leakage to water loss provides the information needed to decide the best course of action to reducing NRW.

The Wavelet District Metered Area Kit includes the SoundWater Cypress Ultrasonic Flowmeter. The Cypress clamps onto pipes supplying water to a discrete geographic area, providing continuous flow data. Comparing the inflow volume of water supplied to a DMA with the metered water usage inside the DMA provides real-time leakage data. With Ayyeka's Wavelet DMA Kit, representative data gleaned from a discrete geographic area can be applied to reduce water loss across the entire system.
